My views on paid DLC vary quite wildly. It really depends on whether I see it as something that genuinely enhances the game in hand, or whether I see it as something that’s been scrimped from the original release and used to simply fill the coffers of the developers. It also takes some getting used to that Nintendo have embraced the model at all, yet here we are with the first element of the expansion pass for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; The Master Trials.
As I sat down to play the first round of Splatoon 2‘s recent global testfire event, I admit – I didn’t quite know what to expect experience-wise. There are some games that are easy to read from a very short bit of explanation or gameplay video, but while I had seen Splatoon played before I wasn’t someone who had any real-world experience under my belt. A veritable virgin, I was going in – tool in hand – with no idea what to do.

We take a look at who’s spoken up about their involvement with the Nintendo Switch, from the October 20th official reveal right up ’til now.
