    I look forward to getting home from work to play myself! I’m 25 hours into the game and I just finished dealing with John Seed! It was satisfying what I did to him! Now onto Faith Seed, the siren! :D

  Am I the only one here that does NOT use motion controls on Switch? I despise them and make sure they are disabled in every game I play! LOL

    Haha yeah I try and avoid motion controls on everything for the most part. Wii Fit U has one motion control minigame I like to play with friends, but aside from that i've never played a motion control game I cared for.

    I only turn them off for portable mode. Takes me out of the game tbh.
    With other games, it depends on how its implemented - really liked games with minimal Motion Control like Metroid Prime 3, Pandora's Tower and Donkey Kong Country Returns. Really only bothers me when there's a lot of it like with Skyward Sword.

    Also, and I bet me and my childhood mates not the only one there, we did move our controllers a lot when playing games, especially acting like we actually had a steering wheel in racing games. XD

    Yeah, I think the game is supposed to be free with season pass or something like that, then releasing a few weeks or so later on the platforms as a stand-alone purchase. I was bummed out to see no mention of Switch, even tho it’s such an old game and the hybrid could easily run the title at 1080p / 30fps. :(

    I know Switch can’t handle Far Cry 5 and that’s fine, but Far Cry 3? Easy as pie! The Switch could tear through that title with ease. I really hope it comes to Switch. I want to replay it on the go!

    I wouldn't mind digital purchases, but so far, no digital platform holder (except Steam, I guess) has implemented a fallback system for when their platform shuts down or at least removed the DRM so we can make legal copies for our own safe-keeping.

    This is also a result of the video game industry regarding their own creations as "disposable", which is goddamn shame in and of itself. Also laws should try to catch up with digital purchases.

    And furthermore, even physical editions can be subject to failure - discs will eventually oxidise, the batteries in old-school cartridges can stop working (though this is maintainable unless there's battery leakage) and modern flash-based cards have limits to their read/write cycles.

  I’ve packed up and put away my dock. I only play my Switch exclusively in portable mode. My PS4 Pro & XB1S are my “docked” home consoles. ;)

    I gave up on the docked experience for Switch. No need to dock a console and have it connected to my tv when I just shut it down and change HDMI inputs over to a different console to use Netflix and YouTube apps. So, I gave that HDMI port back to my laptop and put my Switch dock away. No need for it anymore really.

  Spawn Wave on YouTube is claiming that the new 5.0.0 firmware update is bricking Switch if you use a 3rd party dock. Anyone experiencing?

    That's one reason due to all the ports that are happening, but Nintendo system games seem to hold their prices for much longer. PS/Xbox games drop fast, to the point where I don't bother to buy standard editions on release as you know it'll be half price within 6 months. Can't say the same for the Switch, release titles are pretty much still at release prices!

    Fair enough points I guess. On the bright side, I did just order a brand new and factory sealed copy of Attack on Titan 2 for Nintendo Switch from eBay for only $43 USD! Fingers crossed seller with 100% feedback didn’t scam me. LOL
