        I’ve seen a handful successful marriages in my time, watching friends and family have a great marriage. It’s just a shame how high the failure rate is in general. For every success I’ve seen, I’ve witnessed substantially more failures. I’ve seen good guys and girls get ran through the ringer. Family law and divorce is a life changing consequence for sure. :(

        If a GF / BF break up? No big deal. Everyone goes their own way without consequence really. Husband and Wife decide for a divorce? Yeesh.. Here in the West (Can / US) It can get real ugly. Division of assets, loss of child custody, stuck with alimony / child support payments, etc. Not a gamble and risk I’d take or recommend to anyone. Mostly risk with little to no reward.
