A Tokyo Game Show press release has given details of e-Sports competitions due to be held at the event in September. One game featuring at the show will be the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter XX.
The interest for e-Sports seems to be rising rather rapidly at the moment and the Tokyo Game Show is most definitely a large contributor to its recent success. This will be the sixth e-Sports competition held at the event and this time around it seems to be on a pretty large scale. Two stages will be set up, each with 500 seats for attendees.
Monster Hunter XX will be appearing on the Saturday (September 23rd) alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It is highly promising to see Nintendo Switch titles be showcased like this at major events and can hopefully generate even more interest in the console, attracting players and developers alike.
