The “blockbuster detective thriller” arrives on November 14th.
We’d heard the rumours as I’m sure you might have, but today Rockstar Games confirmed on their website that their detective-led adventure set in 1940s Los Angeles, L.A. Noire, will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on November 14th.
As well as packing the original game and all additional DLC, Rockstar Games confirmed that the Switch version will feature unique enhancements. You can expect gesture-based controls using the gyroscopic features within the Joy-Con, HD Rumble as well as new camera angles; showing the action from over the shoulder. It also boats “contextual” touch screen controls for that detective work on the go.
Originally released in 2011 and developed by the now-defunct Team Bondi, LA. Noire is a neo-noir action-adventure title where you solve crimes in the late 1940s. Famed for its use of motion capture for facial animation, the idea was to use your intuition to “deduce” whether suspects where lying or being truthful whilst under investigation over a wide variety of crimes.
Rockstar Games have stated that more information will follow in the coming weeks.
What do you make of the news? Will you be grabbing this when it releases? Played it before? Let us know!
