Once again it’s that time of the week where we get to look at how Nintendo Switch titles have faired in the charts. Last week the highest placing Switch game was the newly released Fifa 18 but has it managed to remain near the top of the table? Let’s have a look!
Despite the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game remaining in the top two spots from last week, the Switch version of Fifa 18 has slipped down slightly this week. This means that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has once again claimed to the highest place of all Nintendo Switch games this time around, rising up several places from its position last week to hit number 8.
Mario Kart isn’t the only title to have gained a few places this week; The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has seen a rise of six places to hit number 13 too. Next up is the aforementioned Fifa 18, settling into 17th this week with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle not far behind in 19th.
Going further down the table we see 1-2 Switch making a possibly surprising leap up the table into 27th place, Pokkén Tournament DX is just behind that in 28th, Splatoon 2 has slipped down to 30th, and Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition rounds off the Switch titles in 35th place.
It is interesting to see that the big Switch titles such as Mario Kart and Zelda seem to be showing no signs of slowing down, clearly generating more and more sales each week as new players get their hands on the console. Have you been playing any of the games mentioned above? Let us know!
Despite not being a football fan, I hope that this doesn’t mean that EA decides that there’s no love for their games on the Switch.
Despite probably being the best version for feature parity on Nintendo systems for quite some time, it wasn’t exactly comparible.
