Those cheeky folks at Image and Form have been teasing a new project in the SteamWorld universe for some time, and today – at the start on the “Nindies” presentation – we learned that not only is it SteamWorld Dig 2, but it will launch FIRST on the Nintendo Switch! Check out the reveal trailer!
Set for release this summer, the game features a lone steamboat and her pickaxe, on her quest to find her lost friend. With her unlikely companion, you’ll be digging deep into the world, accumulating riches and explore an underworld filled with danger, but she’ll have to do it before time runs out…
I rather enjoyed the first game, and the protagonist of that title, Rusty, is nowhere to be seen. Is this who our heroine seeks?
