Splatoon leads the coverage of our features section, and there’s analysis of Streets of Rage 4’s nostalgic appealplus the crossover potential of Mario and Sonic. We’ve got plenty of reviews, including Cult of the Lamb, Two Point Campus, Live A Live, and an epic 6-page review of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Carrion and Darkest Dungeon get the retrospective treatment, and issue 64 also features the lowdown on all the new courses from Wave 2 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass (these titles have certainly gotten more epic since the SNES original).

Rather excitingly, issue 64 of Switch Player Magazine also contains a selection of new features. At the front, our new Switched On news section will bring you up to date with the Switch information you need to know. If you’re looking to satisfy your retrogaming urges, our new NSO Spotlight will deliver some choice selections for you to nostalgically dive into. And at the rear of the magazine, Backlog Breach tasks a different person each issue with tackling a game that has remained on their shelf unused (this issue, Hollow Knight gets its moment to shine).

Switch Player has had a general refresh with this latest issue, and if you’re new to the magazine, this is an ideal opportunity to jump in. If you’re a regular reader, we hope you enjoy the new content. We’ve got more plans for new content to add in the coming issues too…
