Team Meat have finally confirmed the release date for Super Meat Boy on the Nintendo Switch.
Super Meat Boy will finally launch on 11th January, although it’s not quite the 2017 release they’d hoped for, this is close enough and since it’s Super Meat Boy we’ll let them off. In more exciting news the Switch version will launch with a new game mode, Race Mode. Pretty safe to assume this will have players racing one another through the hellish gauntlets that are Super Meat Boy’s levels though exact details have yet to be announced.
For those that need catching up, Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails 2D platformer that originally launched way back in 2010 (how time flies). You play as Meat Boy and progress through ever more infuriating challenging levels in your quest to save your beloved Bandage Girl from Dr. Fetus.
