Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire coming to Switch

Highly anticipated Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year it seems.

According to the folks at Game Informer the game previously only announced for PC, Mac and Linux will also be heading to consoles, including everyone’s favourite the Switch, later in the year. The port will be handled by developer Red Cerberus with Obsidian and Versus Evil overlooking publishing duties. You can watch the original gameplay trailer below.

For those unfamiliar with Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the classic D&D style RPG will have you sail to the new region of Deadfire as captain of your own ship, along the way you’ll enlist the help of several companions all of whom you can build your own way and develop your own personalised crew to adventure with.
