It’s no secret that Sonic has been having somewhat of a midlife crisis as of late. Since an attempt to reboot the series back in 2006, an attempt which has gone down as historically one of the worst games ever made – Sonic has never truly found his feet since. Although in 2011, to celebrate his 20th anniversary we were treated to Sonic Generations which looked like a true return to form.
After a leak earlier in the week it has now been confirmed that upcoming Sonic Forces will be receiving Shadow the Hedgehog DLC.
SEGA has announced that Sonic Forces will be releasing in both Europe and North America on 7th November, and also detailed the pre-order Bonus Edition of the game.
As someone who has been playing Tetris in one form or another for pretty much all of his life, I was excited to hear that Puyo Puyo Tetris was headed to Switch – and that excitement turned into delight when I learned that it was receiving a Western release. I was more interested in the Tetris aspect for sure, but there was something alluring about the Puyo Puyo aspect as well. If someone thought these similarly styled series were a good idea to mix, who was I to disagree?
