Since its release on Nintendo Switch in June – and last year on other consoles – Shantae: Half-Genie Hero fans have been patiently waiting for promised DLC add-ons. Developer WayForward have now revealed that the Risky Boots DLC (a whole new campaign for the game) is complete, and has already been submitted to Nintendo. Not long now folks!

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero launches on Switch next week
A few weeks back Bradley brought you the news that WayForward would be bringing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero to the Nintendo Switch this summer. It seems like WayForward certainly weren’t messing around, as it has now been revealed that the game will release on the eShop next week, on June 8th.

Confirmed through a series of tweets over the last few hours, developer WayForward is bringing their latest Shantae adventure to the Nintendo Switch later this summer.
