While previously dealing with an “August 2017” release window, we’ve now gotten a more solid release date a bit further down the line.
Thanks to the social media tool Twitter, the curiosity of one fan, and the blatant response of developer Tom Happ, we’ve now got an official Nintendo Switch release date for Axiom Verge: Multiverse Editon; October 17th, 2017.
A Metroidvania style platformer that was highly lauded on other platforms, Axiom Verge is headed to the Nintendo Switch with an art book, a double-sided poster, and a “making of” documentary by 2 Player Productions in its physical version. Pre-orders will also net you a CD soundtrack, so if you’re interested you should probably order early.
