FIFA 19

FIFA 19 Announced For Switch, Coming This September

Online with friends!

EA have just finished up their E3 2018 briefing during which they showed off a number of titles including FIFA 19.

The title, which comes as a surprise to no one really, will bring the yearly upgrades to the popular football title with an all-new standalone UEFA Champions League Mode, along with career mode and Ultimate team. A trailer for the title has been released which you can watch below.

This version is promised to be much closer to its counterparts on other systems, and finally adds the option to play online with friends, which for some unknown reason you couldn’t do on the Switch’s version of FIFA 18.

You’ll be able to play the Online Friendlies mode with friends, both in FIFA and in FIFA Ultimate Team, across a five-match season.

FIFA 18 on Switch was given a free update back in late May that brought the World Cup to the title. It was a nice addition to the title which was otherwise an ‘okay‘ title, as Paul Murphy explained in his review of FIFA 18.

FIFA 19 will release on September 28th, 2018 worldwide via both retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop.
