Seeing things upside down.
What stands out to me about Knight Terrors is how true to its roots it is, creatively combining elements of the retro era with the simple and addictive formats of mobile gaming. An endless runner that requires some skill, unashamedly inspired by the likes of “birds that are flappy”, to quote the eShop description, and a certain shoot ’em up that sounds similar to ‘K-Type’ (a game mode).
He’s tiny, he’s a barbarian, you can already see where this is going…
Just in time for Hallowe’en, Nicalis – in collaboration with FreakZone Games – has announced a new horror side-scrolling arcade game called Knight Terrors.

Last month we mentioned that Cave Story+ would be receiving a free update – allowing you to play the game with its original, classic graphics. Back then no specific date was revealed, but the patch has now been released for everyone to enjoy.
