It’s been quite a while since we last heard anything regarding the upcoming second DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but Nintendo have recently reiterated that it will still launch before the end of 2017.
From the Nintendo Direct this week we now have some more details on those Champion Amiibo for Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is undoubtedly a contender for many people’s game of 2017, and thanks to its season pass the content is due to keep coming throughout the year. Thanks to a new update however, the game is now promising yet another new feature to everyone.
Nintendo has updated their financial data, giving us some hard numbers on their console and its first party games. We’ve also got word from Famitsu and Media Create, giving us early numbers on the physical Splatoon 2 sales in Japan. Numbers ahoy!
My views on paid DLC vary quite wildly. It really depends on whether I see it as something that genuinely enhances the game in hand, or whether I see it as something that’s been scrimped from the original release and used to simply fill the coffers of the developers. It also takes some getting used to that Nintendo have embraced the model at all, yet here we are with the first element of the expansion pass for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; The Master Trials.
It looks like we’re getting pretty close to the first round of Breath of the Wild DLC, and thanks to Nintendo’s E3 showing we know a bit more about the holiday DLC as well.
