As opposed to last week, it appears that 1-2-Switch has fallen out of the top 10 spot everywhere but Japan. Snipperclips, which consistently appeared in the top 2 since launch, is finally moving down a bit, likely due to the recent releases of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Kamiko. Launch titles Fast RMX and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove continue to crack the top 10 outside of Japan, which is impressive.

Unsurprisingly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is dominating the bestseller charts. Lizardcube’s Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap continues to make waves as well, clinging to the #2 spot everywhere outside of Japan (where it appeared 4th). The newly released action/adventure game Kamiko appears in each list, which is good news for the folks at SKIPMORE. For a game launching outside of Japan the day before Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the generous $5.00 USD price tag and positive buzz across social media seem to be working in favor of the bite-sized title. Our own Kyle Wakeling awarded Kamiko a 4.4/5, calling it a “charming little game that melds action and puzzle elements together quite nicely.”

With the Nintendo Switch offering access to eShops around the globe, it’s now easier than ever for players to expand their digital library without the hassle of importing titles from overseas. Accessing another region’s eShop is as easy as creating a new account at accounts.nintendo.com with an e-mail address different from the one used on your primary account. You’ll then want to choose the region you wish to access as your home country (Japan, for instance) during the creation process. You should receive a 4-digit code via e-mail to activate the new account, which will then allow you to add and link it through the Settings menu on your Nintendo Switch.

After creating and linking the account as a new user on your Switch, select the eShop icon, choose the account for the region you wish to access, and that’s that!
